Introduction

Hair Sprays are the aqueous solutions that are used mainly for maintaining stiffness of hair. These are used for making hair styles that stays for a long period of time. Using a pump the aqueous solution is evenly sprayed on hair. The first hair spray was developed by Chase Products Company in 1984.

Varieties of hair sprays :

Hair Sprays come in a lot of varieties. No matter your hair are thin, thick, curly or fragile there are air sprays available in the market that suit a particular hair type. Using hair sprays your hair can look as good as in the evening as they remain in morning. There are generally three varieties of hair sprays available in market. These include light hold, medium hold, and super hold. The main difference between these three varieties is the varying size of the polymer droplet. The larger the droplet size the more is the gripping power on hair. The light hold hair sprays have minimum gripping power while super hold bears the maximum gripping power.

The light hold hair sprays: are used when a person wants a particular hair style for short period of time. Using this hair spray the hair does not become heavy and stiff.

The Medium hold hair sprays : It is used by people having easily manageable hair. But it can make the hair stiff and heavy up to a certain extent.

The Super hold hair sprays: These hair sprays are generally used by the people having very thin hair. Using this hair spray you feel your hair heavy when touched. It is generally recommended for the persons having hair which are very hard to manage.

Unlike the hair sprays used by past generations new generation prefers to use organic or natural hair sprays. The main advantage of these hair sprays is that they do not contain any smell or polymers. So these are hundred percent harmless for any type of hair. The main ingredients of natural sprays are flower and herbs extract which includes aloe-vera, yucca, wheat protein, chamomile, marigold etc.
