Hair Bleaching

Introduction:

You can bleach your hair at saloon or can take the help of a professional hairdresser to do it more safely. Different people have different reasons for hair bleaching. Some people do it for getting hair with light colors while others do it for obtaining dark hair. If you want to color your hair with colors such as purple, red and blue then you need to bleach your hair first so that the desired effect on hair can be achieved. Hair bleaching is a process in which the original pigment of hair is removed. The two widely used ingredients of a bleaching product are ammonium per sulphate and hydrogen peroxide. These are generally known as the oxidizing agents. The main purpose of hair bleaching is to change the hair composition by changing the core of the melanin. This is done with the help of these oxidizing agents. Because of hair bleaching the melanin changes its color from black to white or it can become colorless also.

Hair Bleaching and Hair Type:

Hair bleaching and the products differ according to hair type. If you are having brown color hair then you can bleach your hair at home because the consequences are very less. But if a person is having dark color hair then he must take advice of a professional dresser as the after effects of hair bleaching for dark colors can be very dangerous for hair and the scalp. The hair dresser can also tell you about the bleaching products which can help you to retain color of your hair for a very long period of time.

Hair Bleaching Tips:

The following tips need to be kept in mind before and after bleaching of your hair:

•  Use a proper conditioner after bleaching otherwise the breaking of hair can occur.

•  Never allow your skin to expose with bleaching products otherwise it can cause irritation and some major skin problems

•  Always avoid bleaching your eyebrows on your own.

•  Never use metal bowls to pour bleaching agents in them.

•  If you have recently colored your hair then avoid bleaching otherwise it can damage your hair.
